HI, I am an anesthesiologist in full-time private practice, currently doing outpatient anesthesia in Orange County, California. In about 2008, my sister had a recurrence of her breast cancer requiring chemotherapy. At that time, I made a book for her to help her through that journey. I hired a graphic designer to share that book with others, expanded the content, and developed ChemoCompanion Care Guide. It is a small book chock full of tips and wisdom in accessible language to guide patients through the process. In 2014, a second edition was produced and has been selling since. To date, it has sold approximately 250,000 copies worldwide in several languages. The book is available on Amazon in English and Spanish, as well as ebook editions on Amazon and Apple. I also sell the books by the box at wholesale prices to cancer centers that give them to patients. I previously had a corporate sponsor who also purchased books for cancer centers, and the book was branded for them.
