I am a board-certified Pediatrician who provides full-scope Pediatric care to newborns and adolescents in both outpatient and inpatient primary care settings. I made the transition to full time locums tenens work over 5 years ago after dealing with severe career burnout and yearning for a proper work life balance. Since making that switch, I have experienced the most fulfilling years of my career. I only wish that I was made aware of options such as locums while I was in residency.
My experiences led me and a friend to create Nxt Level Career Consulting. We wanted to help other medical professionals deal with career burnout by educating them of their options.
Our mission is to provide healthcare professionals with a roadmap for success while also considering their mental and emotional well-being. At Nxt Level Career Consulting, we provide high quality services for medical professionals in need of career coaching, private practice start-up, resume/CV review, contract negotiation and job placement. Additionally, we conduct workshops for residency programs looking to provide their residents with the necessary tools they will need to make an educated decision about their future.
