Onyx Self Storage

Hi, I’m an ER doctor and current teaching faculty at St. Luke’s Anderson Residency program. Shortly after graduating residency, my wife and I founded a home-care company and became familiar with business startups and raising capital. As a couple we  enjoyed working together and were attracted to real-estate as well. We soon found ourselves involved in several successful multi-family projects using the BRRRR method (a common first step into the world of real estate) and began participating in self-storage syndications. In 2020 we purchased our first self-storage facility.

Along with my wife, Rebecca, and business partner, Ben we founded Investing Storage. We are a self-storage development company that manages, buys, sells and improves storage properties.  We focus on the acquisition of mid-size facilities with value add potential – specifically the ability to expand or increase revenue through capital expenditures and operational efficiency improvements. 

Our self-storage brand is Onyx Self Storage and our management/investing company is known as Investing Storage.
