Physician Dad Nerd

My name is Joseph Cruz. I am an Emergency Medicine Physician, a father of 3 wonderful children, and also a huge movie fan. A lifelong passion of mine has always been watching movies and writing reviews. I wrote movie reviews for my high school newspaper and worked at a local video store when I was younger. Decades later, I decided to re-ignite that passion to become a movie critic.

I started the Physician Dad Nerd website, first to deliver my reviews to my small group of fellow physician dads. As the website has grown, I have begun to reach a larger audience, and plan to expand towards a podcast and youtube film review series.
