Hi, I am a board-certified emergency physician with 15 years of community emergency medicine and urgent care experience. I have always been attracted to entrepreneurial endeavors, the first of which was a wound irrigation device that I developed and sold to Medline Industries. My wife and I then developed a breast-pump light, Lacta Lite, www.lactalite.com, available on Amazon.

Most recently, I developed The Laceration Course, an online CME course for emergency and urgent care clinicians, residents, and students. My clinical interest in managing lacerations myself was the main stimulus. I am active in the urgent care space, recently elected to the Board of Directors for the College of Urgent Care Medicine. There is definitely a need for this type of education and I look forward to working with clinicians in this setting. I have enjoyed the process of creating a course and marketing it to those who may benefit. I partnered with a long-standing CME company, EB Medicine, to increase the reach and work towards developing regular in-person workshops. We work with many large urgent care and emergency medicine groups along with emergency medicine and primary care residency programs.

Thanks for taking the time to learn about The Laceration Course.
