Baptist Little Rock (Go-live 10/8/24)
– 1 MD in house 24/7
– 24 hour shifts OB/GYN Hospitalist shifts
– Responsible for unassigned OB and GYN Patients, covering all triage/OBED patients, Main ED/Floor consults for unassigned GYN
– Back up system will be in place to cover unassigned emergent GYN surgery and assist OB/GYN Hospitalist as needed for OB (difficult CS assist, multiple emergencies, etc)
– Staffed with scrub techs for CS assist, can request back up assistance for more complex cases
– No residents currently in place, no resident supervision responsibility at this time
– Level 3 NICU
– In House Anesthesiologists and dedicated in-house CRNA for L&D 24/7
– Hospital willing to grant Temps with completed privilege application and active AR license
Baptist North Little Rock (Go-live 10/15/24)
– 1 MD in house 24/7
– 24 hour shifts OB/GYN Hospitalist shifts
– Responsible for unassigned OB and GYN Patients, covering all triage/OBED patients, Main ED/Floor consults for unassigned GYN
– Back up system will be in place to cover unassigned emergent GYN surgery and assist OB/GYN Hospitalist as needed for OB (difficult CS assist, multiple emergencies, etc)
– Family Practice Residency program, OB/GYN Hospitalist responsible for supervising and teaching the residents
– Family Practice physicians have OB patients, OB/GYN Hospitalist will back up FP physicians for complex OB cases and deliveries outside of their scope
– Scrub techs provide CS assist, the FP physicians can provide CS assist. FP-OB fellowship trained physician can also assist when on call, can request back up assistance from OB/GYN back up physician for more complex cases
– Level 2 NICU, accept 34 weeks or greater
– Anesthesiologists are not in house 24/7, dedicated in-house CRNA for L&D 24/7 with back up from the Anesthesiologist
– Hospital willing to grant Temps with completed privilege application and active AR license
Baptist Conway (Go-live 11/1/24)
– 1 MD in house 24/7
– 24 hour shifts OB/GYN Hospitalist shifts
– Responsible for unassigned OB and GYN Patients, covering all triage/OBED patients, Main ED/Floor consults for unassigned GYN
– Back up system will be in place to help cover unassigned emergent GYN surgery and assist OB/GYN Hospitalist as needed for OB (difficult CS assist, multiple emergencies, etc)
– No Residents at this location
– Scrub techs provide CS assist. Can request back up assistance from OB/GYN back up physician for more complex cases
– Level 2 NICU, accept 35 weeks or greater
– Anesthesiologists are not in house 24/7, CRNA will remain in-house if they have any patients with an epidural in place, with back up from the Anesthesiologist from home. CRNAs can intubate or dose epidurals to start a STAT CS while the Anesthesiologist is on the way to the hospital
– Hospital willing to grant Temps with completed privilege application and active AR license
